November 8, 2008: The Arizona State High School Championships were held at the Cave Creek Golf Course today.  Of 26 schools competing, the Pride Boys took a respectable 11th place overall in the 5A-I division.  Competing for the Mountain Pointe at this year’s meet were Dan Wilson (Sr.), Connor Donnelly (So.), Brian Bauer (Sr.), Kyle Thomas (Sr.),  Shelby Goodman (Jr.), Haiepei Cheng (Sr.), and Victor Iniguez (So.).  Dan Wilson received a medal for his individual 17th place finish.

Save the Date: November 21, 2008: The MPHS Boys XC Dessert Banquet will be held at the high school Cafeteria at 7pm.  Bring the whole family and celebrate the successes the team has had this year.  Each family is asked to bring a dessert.
